The Tennis Center at College Park (TCCP), home of the Junior Tennis Champions Center, announced today that it has been recognized by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as a 2013 Facility Award Winner.
The USTA awarded TCCP as the winner of the Private Facility category. Facilities were judged on the overall layout and adaptation to site, excellence of court surface and lights, ease of maintenance, accommodations for players, spectators and press/officials, aesthetics, graphics (including the use of signs and landscaping), amenities including casual seating for spectators, food services and social areas, and facility participation in USTA programs. Additionally, TCCP was praised for the implementation of USTA programs, including 10 and Under Tennis. The USTA will honor TCCP and other training facilities from around the county at the USTA semi-annual meeting in New York City on September 1, 2013.
