Last night, James Blake defeated Denis Kudla in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) to breeze into the third round of the Challenger of Dallas.
Blake has yet to lose a set in the tournament. He will face Houstonian and fellow American Michael Russell (No. 90 in the world) in a quarterfinal match-up today on Stadium Court around 4:30 PM CST. The two have faced each other four times with Blake garnering three victories (2007 US Open, 2008 Australian Open and 2011 Sony Open). The match will be streamed live online at USTA.com.
