The 15th Annual Arthur Ashe essay contest is now open for submissions.
Who is eligible?
If you participate in a National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapter and are 18 or younger, you are eligible.
What do I have to write about?
Answer the following question in 350 words or less on one written 8.5 X 11 page or less:
If you could follow in Arthur Ashe’s footsteps and ‘give back’ to tennis, what would you do to give back to the game, and how would it impact?
What could I win?
Ten national winners will win a trip for themselves and their parent/legal guardian to New York City. National winners will attend the US Open, be a VIP during Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, receive tickets to a Broadway show and earn an invite to a luncheon in their honor.
How do I enter my essay?
Print and fill out the application. Submit your essay and application to your local NJTL Chapter.
