Our Philosophy

A Standard of Excellence.

Our philosophy is simple: Trust Your Training. We value the person first and the tennis player second โ€” because champions in competition are built by champions in character. Every decision we make, from how we coach to how we support life off the court, reflects that commitment.

"We develop champions in competition and in character โ€” instilling life skills, discipline, and a commitment to excellence that extends far beyond the tennis court."

Frequently Asked

Questions, Answered.

Find quick answers to the questions families ask most about the JTCC High Performance Program. From your first on-court evaluation through enrollment, daily training, and academics, we've covered the essentials to help you understand what to expect. International families will also find details on visas, housing, and online schooling. If you still have questions after reading through, our HP team is always happy to help.

01

What to Expect

  • What's the best way to get started?

Submit an inquiry through the contact form on this page and our team will reach out within two business days to schedule an evaluation. Most families begin with a campus visit or a complimentary on-court assessment before committing to a program.

  • Do you offer a free trial or evaluation lesson?

Yes โ€” every prospective HP athlete is invited to a complimentary 60-minute on-court evaluation with a senior coach. The session helps us recommend the right training track and gives the athlete a feel for the program’s intensity and culture.

  • How does enrollment work, from initial inquiry through the first day on court?

After your inquiry, we’ll schedule an evaluation, share a coach’s program recommendation, and walk you through tuition and scheduling. Once a deposit is received, your family is paired with a player liaison who coordinates onboarding, paperwork, and orientation. Most families go from first call to first session in about three to four weeks.

  • What ages and skill levels does the HP Program serve?

JTCC High Performance serves competitive juniors from roughly age 9 through 18, across five training tracks from foundational to full-time. Placement is based on the on-court evaluation rather than age alone.

  • What happens after I submit the inquiry form?

You’ll receive an automated confirmation immediately, and a member of our HP admissions team will follow up personally within two business days. From there we’ll book the evaluation, send program details based on your interest, and answer any questions about logistics or tuition before you decide.

02

International Specific

  • Does JTCC assist with the F-1 visa and I-20 process?

Yes. JTCC is authorized to issue I-20 forms for the F-1 student visa, and our international team works directly with families on documentation, embassy timelines, and arrival logistics. Most students complete the visa process within 8โ€“12 weeks of acceptance.

  • What housing options are available for international students?

International full-time athletes have two paths: vetted host-family placement in the College Park area, or on-campus boarding at our Jacksonville campus through The Bolles School. Both options include meals, transportation to training, and ongoing supervision by JTCC staff. We help every family choose based on age, length of stay, and personal preference.

  • How are academics handled for international full-time students?

Full-time HP athletes enroll through our partnership with Laurel Springs School, an accredited online U.S. school with credentialed teachers. Class time is built into the daily training schedule and supervised on-site, so academic progress is never an afterthought.

  • Can international families visit before committing?

Absolutely โ€” we host campus visits year-round and strongly encourage them. Reach out and we’ll arrange a tour, an evaluation, and time with the coaching staff.
