The Junior Tennis Champions Center announced today the opening of registration for 10 and Under Summer Tennis Camps. The camps follow a play-based approach to learning tennis and aims to keep kids mentally engaged and physically active.
The options for 10 and Under Summer Tennis Camps are as follows:
Tennis Whizz (Ages 3 – 6): Classes involve both the parent and the child and aims to develop the fundamental athletic base needed to be successful in sport. The class will be offered weekdays from 12 PM – 1 PM.
BBC Explorers (Ages 4 – 8): Explorers will receive on-court instruction in the morning and participate in various activities (arts/crafts, swimming and field trips) in the afternoon. Full day camp is run from 9 AM – 4 PM. The camp is appropriate for current JTCC players in Kids’ Club Red and Red 2.
BBC Red (Ages 4 – 8): Designed to complement JTCC’s year-round programming for red court players. Throughout the week, kids will work on developing technique, accuracy and overall athleticism. On the first day of camp, coaches will assess abilities and group accordingly. The camp is appropriate for current JTCC players in Kids’ Club Red, Red 2 and Red 3.
BBC Orange (Ages 8 – 10): Players will focus on developing technique, accuracy, movement and tactics. The camp is appropriate for current JTCC players in Kids’ Club Orange and Orange 2.
