On Thursday, May 23 JTCC recognized the Class of 2019 with a graduation ceremony celebrating the group’s achievements in the classroom and on the tennis court. This year 14 student-athletes move on from JTCC. They were addressed by Washington Post columnist and graduation guest speaker, Courtland Milloy, who provided them with advice for the future and praise for their accomplishments thus far by saying, “Remember those who have invested in you at JTCC, and think of them when the going gets tough down the line. They know what you are capable of and will support you no matter where you are in the future.”
JTCC Director of School, Mark Santangelo, described the Class of 2019 as a group of diverse hard-working individuals who have great potential for the future. The graduates will be featuring on a number of leading college tennis teams around the nation this fall and are also well equipped to prosper academically.
