The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as was evidenced by RJ Fresen following in his mother’s footsteps by winning his first ITF junior title at the Panorama International in North Saanich, Canada earlier this month.
Fresen’s mother, former WTA top 10 player Kathleen Horvath was recently recognized in the New York Times for her upset victory over Martina Navratilova at the 1983 French Open.
Horvath’s career was managed by JTCC CEO Ray Benton and Marketing Consultant Sara Fornaciari.
RJ has previously trained at JTCC prior to a major injury layoff and has now returned to College Park.
