Overview
JTCC’s Junior Programs offer a comprehensive tennis pathway that accommodates youth of all ages and abilities (see the pathway visual below). Classes are offered daily, and schedules are flexible to meet everyone’s needs and level of commitment.
The Future Champs program (formerly known as the Junior Development program) is session-based and designed for beginner to intermediate players. Red and Orange classes are for children ages 10 and under, Green and Yellow classes are for players ages 11-17. JTCC’s coaching staff uses an engaging and dynamic class format to develop players’ techniques, strokes and to build an athletic foundation for tennis and other sports.
For players interested in competition, JTCC has designed the world-renowned High Performance Champions pathway with four exceptional programs – Junior Champs, Champs II, Champs I, and Full-Time Champs. The program has built USTA/ITF tournament champions, collegiate standouts, and ATP and WTA stars for over 20 years. The prestigious program offers both after-school training and a full-time tennis program with optional school on site.
Free tutoring
JTCC is launching a FREE after-school tutoring program to provide all school-aged JTCC program participants access to academic support and help with homework or studying for English and Math.
Beginning Monday, September 23, tutoring will be available in person at the JTCC School located in the modules between Court 13 and the Employee Parking Lot on Monday through Friday from 4:00-7:00 pm.
Caregivers can sign up their child in advance for a one-hour time slot by clicking here. You can also drop in without signing up, but space is limited for each hour and priority will be given to those who signed up in advance.
Please note that tutoring is not necessarily one-on-one, but slots are limited to five students per hour to ensure adequate support.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact JTCC Director of School Mark Santangelo at msantangelo@jtcc.org.
