JTCC alum Denis Kudla will square off with former world No. 4 James Blake in the second round of the Challenger of Dallas tournament tonight.
Kudla, currently ranked 142nd in the world, reached the second round by knocking off qualifier Jean Andersen, 6-2, 6-1. Blake ousted his first round opponent, qualifier Alexander Domijan, in similar fashion, 6-3, 6-4.
The two previously met in the Sarasota Challenger back in April, 2012. In a grueling match, Blake (seeded No. 1 in the tourney) came out on top with a 5-7, 7-5, 7-5 narrow victory in the Round of 16.
