The player list has been announced for the 2022 Wayne K. Curry Prince George’s County International Junior Tennis Championships presented by Laurel Springs School, featuring rising junior boys and girls worldwide.
Mirra Andreeva, the 2021 girls’ singles finalist, returns this year as the top seed in the event with a ranking of No. 12. Lautaro Midon of Argentina headlines the boys’ field as the No. 12 ranked player in the world.
JTCC has 26 players competing in the Grade 1 ITF throughout the Main, Qualifying, and Wild Card draws.
Stefan Regalia and Cindy Zhao are the highest ranked JTCC players in the boys’ and girls’ fields, respectively. Regalia is verbally committed to the University of Virginia in the fall of 2023, and Zhao was the 2021 girls’ doubles finalist in this event.
