If you are looking to book room nights outside of Sunday, August 24, through Sunday, August 31, please follow these directions:

• Book your room as if you are checking in Sunday, August 24, and checking out Sunday, August 31.
• Locate your reservation/confirmation number immediately after booking (on that same page and/or via email confirmation).
• Please email John Niswander (jniswander@jtcc.org) with your preferred check-in and check-out dates. JTCC will get the additional dates added to the reservation on the back end.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

As the tournament weekend in August-September approaches, we will release the tournament schedule.

• ITF Open Players should plan to be in College Park, MD, by Monday, August 25. Please plan your travel accordingly.
• USTA & ITF Junior Players should plan to be in College Park, MD by Thursday, August 28. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Monday, August 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm EST—ITF Singles Division sign-in will be held at the venue.

Tuesday, August 26–Friday, August 29—ITF Level 2 Series events begin. Players should be prepared for matches to begin as early as 9:00 am each day. All matches to be played at JTCC. Indoor backup court locations available inside at JTCC if necessary due to inclement weather.

Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31—ITF Junior & USTA Level 2 events begin. USTA players should be prepared for matches to begin as early as 8:00 AM each day and ITF juniors as early as 9:00 AM. All matches to be played at JTCC. Indoor backup court locations available inside at JTCC if necessary due to inclement weather.

We will provide more details as we approach the tournament weekend.

MEALS

• BREAKFAST: Each host hotel will have complimentary breakfast available for two people per room. Please take advantage of this each morning!
• LUNCH: Lunch will be provided to all tournament players Tuesday–Sunday.
• SNACKS & REFRESHMENTS: Snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the tournament weekend at one or more locations across the tournament venue.
• DINNER: Dinner will be provided to ITF players Monday-Sunday and USTA players Thursday-Sunday.
• COACH & SPECTATOR TOURNAMENT PACKAGE | $60. It will be available for purchase for coaches, family, friends, and support staff. The package includes access to all player meals throughout the weekend, as well as transportation provided to and from the hotel and tournament site. More details to come as the event gets closer!

TRANSPORTATION

We will have shuttle transportation for the following:

• Arrivals at Baltimore Washington International Airport, August 23-28
• Host hotels to tournament venue
• Tournament venue back to host hotels
• Host hotels to Baltimore Washington International Airport/Train Station and Union Train Station for departures August 29-September 1

US OPEN INFORMATION

Below is information for players traveling from the JTCC Wheelchair Championships in College Park, Maryland, to compete in the US Open in New York City, New York.

College Park, Maryland, is approximately 3.5 hours by car or train from New York City, New York. The tournament recommends the train as an affordable and accessible option for players traveling to the US Open. Union Station in Washington, DC, and BWI Train Station in Baltimore, MD, are the two main stations that will have routes via Amtrak or MARC trains to NYC.

Below is information provided by USTA regarding when the US Open site can be accessed and hotels covered.

Open Players

• Start Date—Hotels Covered in NYC—Saturday, Aug 30th
• Date to Access Site: Saturday, Aug 30

Juniors

• Start Date—Hotels Covered in NYC—Tuesday, Sept 2nd
• Date to Access Site: Tuesday, Sept 2nd

Players CAN access the hotel earlier than these dates but will do so at their cost.
