A morning of leadership, learning, and tennis came together at JTCC on March 21 as 16 young leaders from the Greater Suburban MD Chapter of Jack and Jill of America stepped into an experience they will not forget.
The visit began with a personal tour led by JTCC CEO Martin Blackman, followed by an energetic clinic led by Blackman and Coach Kenneth, where participants sharpened their skills and experienced JTCC’s training environment.
Beyond tennis, the morning emphasized holistic development. The students engaged in a financial literacy session, reinforcing the importance of smart decision-making and planning for the future—key components of JTCC’s “person before player” philosophy.
The experience wrapped up with an exciting moment as the group watched the University of Maryland Women’s Tennis team secure a thrilling victory over Wisconsin, giving the students a firsthand look at high-level collegiate competition.
