Dear JTCC Supporter,
As I complete my first year as CEO of JTCC, I am humbled by the commitment of our staff and volunteers, and grateful for the support that makes their work possible. Together, we are advancing our mission: Tennis for Everybody.
27 years ago, our founder, Ken Brody, built JTCC on a simple conviction: tennis, education, and mentoring, pursued with an unapologetic commitment to excellence, can change young lives. Your generosity keeps that vision alive.
Our 2026 End-of-Year Giving Campaign celebrates Seven Pillars, One Mission: High Performance, Adapted Tennis, Academic Excellence, Mentoring, Club, Community Service, and Community Outreach. Together, they develop Champions on and off the court.
Your support helped make this progress possible:
Community Outreach reached 2,548 unique participants in fiscal year 2025–26, a 62.5% increase over the previous year.
Adapted Tennis serves 260 local athletes with disabilities and veterans annually, with camps, tournaments, and special events extending our reach to 400 adapted athletes.
Free after-school tutoring provided 1,251 student visits in the 2025–26 school year, nearly four times the previous year’s total.
High Performance now includes 19 players ranked in the national top 100 for their age groups, up from nine a year ago.
These pillars reinforce one another. Our coach-mentors guide young people in character, academics, and tennis. Our High Performance players serve in Adapted and Outreach programs, while our Club Members help make financial aid possible. This past year, 133 volunteers, including many of our student-athletes, contributed over 1,216 approved hours of community service. That is what we mean by Champions for Life.
Today, I am asking you to help us carry this work forward.
Our High Performance program has a $143,753 funding gap to support committed student-athletes on their path to college.
Our Adapted programs have a $250,000 funding gap to sustain accessible programming and expand opportunities.
Community Champs has an estimated $350,000 funding gap to sustain free and low-cost tennis and help children continue into JTCC programs.
Your year-end gift will help meet these needs and provide free academic support.
Over the next three years, our ambition is to become the best in the world: a center of excellence for player and coach development that shares its expertise and extends opportunity to more communities.
Please make a gift at jtcc.org/donate. You may also give by check, stock, or donor-advised fund. For assistance, contact the Development Department at development@jtcc.org.
Thank you for believing in our players and in what they can become. Your support helps us develop Champions for Life.
With gratitude,
Martin Blackman

P.S. Your gift helps keep the pathway open—from a child’s first introduction to tennis to the education, mentoring, and support that help them thrive.
